With all the excitement the Snuggie Sutra generated I’m not surprised by this. My Christmas shopping was complete with a printing of the instructions found here [thesnuggiesutra.com]

This may be of interest for those thinking the stick is bland. I stumbled across this when I saw markman mention a full plexcover on his blog on cag. With some searching I found this post on shoryuken:
I really like my normal madcatz fightstick. Some of the buttons are getting wonky now so I'm gonna have to replace them. It kinda makes me with I went for one of these bigger ones so I wouldn't have to bother.
AND YOU SHOULD MENTION THAT ALL THE PROCEEDS GO TO MUSIC FOR RELIEF. THESE WERE DONE BY GREAT ARTISTS.
"MUSIC FOR RELIEF is a grassroots effort comprised of musicians, music industry professionals and fans who believe that together we can create positive change. " It was founded by Linkin Park.
off topic: whats up with articles disappearing? the paintball turret and system 7 on iphone articles are gone, and articles have been disappearing randomly in the past too.
Just wondering, would be better to atleast provide a "default" explanation for the reason of removal just to avoid giving people who click on a link to a post the old "404 page not found" error
@rudeadly: Yeah, it's a horrible problem for the hundreds of other games available on the Xbox 360 that are played with wireless controllers on a daily basis.
I'd like the tournament stick, but think I may for for the cheaper version instead. Though I can't find either stick at their correct prices. Everywhere seems to have a huge markup, so I may need to wait a few weeks for prices to comedown a bit.
@falandil: FYI, according to some very loose-lipped sellers, first week in April is when the next round is due to ship. This is first-party information from a third-party source given to you by some random dude on the Internet, though, so take it with a grain of salt.
One thing I like about the SE is the ability to swap out the stick and buttons with true Sanwa parts. Classic JLFs that are essentially drop-in compatible with this stick run about $25. OBSF-30 buttons (also drop-in compatible) run about $2.80 each. In all honesty, going that route once you've outgrown the initial setup (and many will) is a great way to go.
The problem with these setups for me, as is the case for many other reviewers, is the spacing between the buttons and the joystick -- much too close for my taste. That said, ultimately, you cannot go wrong, especially as compared to stock controllers.
I'm going to be embarking on the building of my own wireless stick for PS3 using the above-mentioned parts and a Sixaxis PCB. I'm really looking forward to it. If you're interested, check out my Tweets @gtangjr, or via the #SFIV hash.
It's a easy-to-medium difficulty project that will likely cost the same as the MadCatz TE, but I don't have to wig out trying to find one, and I don't have to deal with eBay or Craigslist, paying more than it's worth.
@Gilbert: I plan on upgrading my SE eventually myself. If I decide that I don't like the size I can always move the guts of the stick to a new case. For my money the SE is the best value of you want to play SF IV.
@Gilbert: Seriously, Good Luck. Lizard Lick Amusements is WAY backed up on orders at the moment. Chad Marley, the owner of LL, has been posting regularly on the shoryuken.com forums to let his customers know of this. If you order now, it might take a couple weeks, or you can wait. Anyway, just a heads up, as I have some items on order myself. Happy stick modding!
@surfer88: Thank you so much for the well-wishes. I have an ace up my sleeve in that I'm leaving to England for a little while. I'm going to place the order right before I shove off, so by the time I get back it should either be here or very close to it. Thanks for the awesome update. :-)

I haven't picked up one yet, but I'm considering it, especially if I can find a nice piece of art to put in there.

Anyone that turns a classic machine, into a MAME machine, or any new game, should be shot on general principle.

2) Word on SRK is that the SE fightsticks are dropping like flies. If you get one, it's bets for you to mod it as soon as possible.

Look under joysticks and pushbuttons.
(I do not work for them, but they have been extremely helpful, so consider this a reference, not a plug.) :-)
GOOD LUCK!
