Speeds of 30 & 10 Mb/s, durable, no cap, and just looks great. Currently the largest size they do is 8GB, but as soon as they release a 16GB I'm getting one...
Manufacturers advertise maximum burst speed, not average speed. One of these (Imation Atom, SanDisk Extreme Cruzer Contour, Kingston DataTraveler HyperX) might outperform the Lacie in the real world.
The Imation atom is also very small, and writes at almost double the speed (11Mb/s). It reads faster too (22.2Mb/s). [computershopper.com] Here's a bunch of flash drives reviewd for performance: [computershopper.com]
@Sam43054: That's one problem I find with these cheaper drives. They're good for keeping lots of text files that only measure in the sub megabyte range, but if you want to use it to play videos off on a netbook, or transfer your small music library, it's nigh useless.
