    Android (Open OS) + Numerous ways to install apps + Root functions (Debian, anyone?) + cheaper MP3s that are NOT DRMed + wireless plans that don't cost you an arm in a leg =

    NOT A WANNABE (Especially since iPhone relies alot on certain Google Apps)

    I am so drawn to this phone. I would want it over a Pre or iPhone, I think it's so nice. But, I'm not leaving Sprint.

    i can't keep crossing my fingers waiting for Sprint to put one of these out there. i am happy for you t-mo guys, but can't help but hate you at the same time.


    i believe there is an ion on ebay available for a buy it now of $1000 if anyone is interested.

    This doesn't really seem that much better to me.


    Lighter? yeah, but who really cares the G1 isn't exactly super heavy.

    Faster? This seems to be the only big feature added.


    Everything else is pretty much the same or worse (depending on if you like the old edges and slide out keyboard)
