Ohh.... and here i had hopes for this movie *sigh*. I guess I'm the only person who thinks the new batman films where trash and not fit of the name "Batman". Don't get me wrong, still better then everything else live action and batman but not a good "batman" movie.

Agreed, my biggest complaint with the new batman movies was the fact that they had to call it Batman. I would have enjoyed the movie a whole lot more if they just called it "flying rodent man vs. laughing make-up man". They just butchered batman/bruce wayne and the joker... not at all faithful to the comics.

T3 gets a lot of undeserved hate, but it's because it was the sequel to T2 which is one of the most loved movies in Hollywood history.

T3 was just a fun action flick, it didn't do anything original or memorable like its predecessor, so even though it wasn't a bad movie people just act like it was unwatchable.

That's the problem... T1 and T2 weren't 'fun action flicks'. They were dark, disturbing action flicks. T3 made a joke of the whole franchise with arnie's stupid one liners... that plus the woman terminator wasn't at all scary

Arnie had just as many one liners in T2 as he did in T3.

T3 is a good time if you watch it on it's own terms and don't keep comparing it to T2.

@Camperton: I tried doing this as well, but to no avail. The movie just didn't seem to work for me, and it seemed that the T-1000 was the far cooler baddie bot than the last. He turned into the friggin floor. Now, he may not have had the powerful laser cannon-toting endoskeleton, but it's hard to beat theatrical stealthy creepiness like that.

I think the most interesting part of the entire third movie was the very end. The rest seemed too campy.

So Mark Wilson spent some time with robots that dispatched humans in large, oily, harvests, and comes back and says the movie isn't going to suck. How do we know they didn't somehow get to Mark, the real Mark, and the one who returned is some sort of literary terminator sent from the future to terminate negative sentiment for the film?

Sure, we normally think of terminators as anthropomorphized killing machines from the future. But what's stopping our future overlords from sending back blogimators to alter the course of public opinion in advance of their militaristic progeny?

If "Mark" starts blogging about cut and past on the iphone as an unnecessary indulgence, someone at Giz should seriously consider taking a tissue sample and seeing if Mark 2.0 is comprised of unknown composites that can only be destroyed in vats of molten steal.

@I work as a meth lab technician: It will follow the Star Trek Rule, 1 and 3 are good, 2 and 4 suck. So we just have to wait for the next Indy movie (5) for it to be a good one...

Oh man. Oh man! FUCK YEAH!

I can't wait until T4 comes out. Christian Bale mixed in with some dirty, grimy post-apocalyptic future action, gratuitously spooned over a Terminator series reboot. What could it possibly be but delicious?

...The new War of the Worlds was also fantastic from an artistic/technical standpoint. But there was one critical flaw -- it was an awful movie.

@DisposableInterloper: As much as I wouldn't want to be alone with Tom Cruise in a stuck elevator, the combination of Cruise and Spielberg also produced Minority Report, which was great.

@Invisiblemoose: War of Worlds was fantastic from an artistic/technical point of view but awful anyway? Fantastic from an artistic/technical point of view is enough for me to think the whole thing is fantastic!
