If that sounds a bit confusing and unconfirmed by anyone but that particular web site, that's because it is. Put simply, the Big N hasn't said a peep about any of this to anyone save those at this alleged secret tree house meeting, whose attendance list included what we presume to be folks like Target, Toys R Us and other retailers who've leaked circulars purportedly advertising a $200 Wii over the past week.

In the end I'm inclined to agree with Kotaku on this one: Wait for the Tokyo Games Show, where all will be revealed and confirmed. Then, after such time has past, we can all get back to predicting when the next price cut will hit. [Nintendojo via GoNintendo via Kotaku]

<![CDATA[A Tribute to Creepy Guys Taking Pictures of Pretty Girls (NSFW)]]> Today we celebrate the unsung hero of the trade show, the creepy guy who stops at nothing to acquire the perfect shot of a girl who probably hates him.

The creepy SLR guy always carries a camera—often two or more—and uses amatuer cosplayers and paid models alike as some part of a bizarre mating ritual involving using a zoom lens (his not so indiscreet phallus) from three feet away.

So from now on, every time you browse some shady forum looking at a girl dressed up as a Final Fantasy character while showing a tad too much cleavage, know that this is how it really happened. Her legs aren't glistening in the light; they're covered in second hand sweat and geek pheromones. And a single hot shower can't undo that viscous coating. A special thanks to Erica Ho for trudging through some truly nasty waters to acquire these shots.

<![CDATA[PS3 Games To Cost Near $100?]]> Last week's excitement over Sony dropping the price of the PS3 in Japan may prove to be short lived with news coming out of the Tokyo Game Show that some PS3 games may cost nearly $100. Sources indicate that several PS3 games will retail for around $76 to $84, well above the current generation's $40 to $50; the price increase can be chalked up to increased development costs. Sony seems to have a knack for shooting themselves in the foot, no?

<![CDATA[Tokyo Game Show 2006: Where's J Allard?]]> 1allard_clone_1.jpgAshcraft continues Kotaku's tradition of "creepily stalking" J Allard, who's actually been fairly difficult to find. Like a fat man's genitals, you may spend a lot of time looking, but once you find it you're not sure it was worth the trouble.

J's been working on the Zune in the States, but his first love is still the Xbox 360. Bodyguard, shmodyguard. Nobody can resist the combination of Ashcraft and McWhertor, two guys I still can't tell apart.
