The Citizen Eco-Drives use ANY kind of light and can run in pitch black for at least 6 months!

My wife has a solar powered watch (a Citizen, I think) which is at least 10 years old. It needs to be charged every few days, which means it has to live in a window sill.

I'm partial to my Seiko Kinetics (I have 2.)

@Rick Lobrecht: Mine does as well, but luckily it also needs to be there to get it's radio signal to reset itself, so it'c not much of a pain. i also have a south facing bathroom window, so while I'm in the shower, it gets a nice 30 minutes of sun almost daily.

I still cling to my cold, heartless, steel time telling wrist machine while most of my friends do indeed check time with their phones.

@Jeremy82465: They'll do that till skyNet starts messing with the time to make us all late for work and get us fired.

My Casio G-shock does almost as well and also checks itself against the atomic clock in Boulder 4x daily.
