Wow, there's an aspect of this that is strikingly poetic. But to me it doesn't override an element that strikes me as a horrible, horrible idea. Opening up his life for auction to any yahoo out there with a buck seems begging for trouble, even if the rationale behind his lunacy isn't so far out there as other maniacs of history. Do we really want this out on the internet so any screwed up teen out there can get their hands on it and take things to a new level of "WTF"?

@Fractal the Meek: I don't think they would need this to ratchet up the WTF, I think they could handle that on their own. Especially one who would off their parents over a video game.

@videoCWK: He stole a bunch of money from a bank in Washington and then jumped out of a plane, and was never seen again.

You know, I used to think it was spelled Unibomber, until I saw the Urban Dictionary definition. That set me straight. Jinkies.

@Kaiser-Machead: Also not to be confused with the Unobomber. He bombed his victims on the basis of the street number and color of their houses.

@JM2ยข_GitEmSteveDave: I once got away by giving him a reverse, skip, reverse, skip, and wild skip a turn and changed the color to green. He blew up my neighbor's house instead.

Also the once ubiquitous "Unabomer"... which I never figured out why in heck it was spelled that way.

I can't believe they would even sell his things.

With Jeffery Dahmer some guy at least bought all his evil's and had them incinerated. There may be a difference when it comes to what each guy had, but does someone really need this and how much will they get any way?

@1350ft.in.a.Concorde.blow*ng.up.balloons: The Unabomber's "evils" weren't partially eaten and loved body parts. They were journals and wires and I don't know, firewood.

Uhu, don' t know what you talking about here.

I always thought that the unabomber was the plane that dropped the nucleair bom on nagasaki/hiroshima

@Its off the Hizzle fo $hizzle My Dizzle: The plane you're talking about is "Enola Gay".

But that's not it. You failed your history class, didn't you?

@Nacon: Most high school history classes don't get very far into the 20th century before the school year is over. And an awful lot of people just don't care about anything past yesterday anyway.

@Fuji-kun: He mailed bombs to various people, killing a few, and wrote journals, John Doe in Seven style, about how technology was going to be the death of us all. He lived in a shack, and his brother turned him in. I think his hatred of the internet stemmed from the fact that he lost all of his money in C.EverettKoop.com, but you'll have to check my math on that.

Or just click on all of those wikipedia links everyone posted.

Yeah ok.... what kind of stuff?

From the look of his face, he look like a bum.

Have you seen the shed he worked in to make those bombs?

It's ugly and old. I doubt he had a Wii or a freakin iPhone.

I'm sure it's just junks like you'd normally see in garage sale.

@Nacon: If someone will pay thousands of dollars for a used tissue of Scarlette Johanson, then this shouldn't be to hard to get some money.

Though I have to agree with Frigg, in that I would hate to own any of this memorabilia because I would be very afraid of being know as the guy who was really into the unibomber enough to by some of his swag.

    Creepy.
