Can jailbroken Iphone's also do this!?
Why not? That I don't understand (since the touch and iphone software are basically the same - right?)
The rest of my comment is totally unrelated to the ipod theme. As one of the few actual women around here - I find the language "it's cherry-popping time" demeaning. It is RADICALLY minimizing female sexuality (as in "cherry" being a female virgin) by comparing it to a gadget tweak.
Attack me if you will - few would understand besides other women.
yeah the whole world is suffering because someone said 'cherry popping'. my god how demeaning for women everywhere.
if men were as whiny when someone declared someone else to be a dick, there wouldn't be a moments silence.
"Young girls (probably the ones you refer to on this blog) usually can't see it - because they grew up inside it."
young girls can't see it because it's fucking fictitious. it's just another excuse to complain about something that really doesn't frigging matter.
bottom line: if complaining about harmless vernacular is a hobby of yours, give God a jingle and throw a thank you his (or what, her?) way for a life so devoid of actual oppression.
I am going to go a different direction than everyone else and say "I don't believe it". Cuz I don't. The most different looking theme I have on my iPhone is the one posted here 2 days ago, called iVillian, which is combined with a weather widget to make the phone look like an HTC Hero. IT does a great job and having the weather updated on my first page is AWESOME. But it is in fact the same working springboard and what I see in the pictures above is NOT the springboard. It looks as though it actually organizes apps by "most used" and possible other criteria, and that just doesn't seem possible. Sorry for the run on paragraph and poor grammar used, I had a lot to say and didn't take much time in it. The moral is, I like it and want it, but have a hard time believing it will be anything like what is shown.

Young women probably won't get it either.
Now I feel old...

Good gadget design makes the user feel like s/he's touching the future.
If that works as well as those screenshots look, then that is a plainly fantastic design.
