The Thrustmaster T-Strap is a mere cord that plugs in the back of your DSi. But through the remarkable engineering of a little plastic piece thingie, the cord creates a loop when not plugged in that's suitable for slipping around your wrist. Additionally, the T-Strap converts the DSi's proprietary connection to be USB-charging compatible. So as long as you've got a USB hub available, you can charge your DSi.

Look for the T-Strap mid-May for $8. [Thrustmaster via Engadget]

<![CDATA[Thrustmaster's Glowing Lightsaber Wiimote Add-on Might Make Force Unleashed Bearable]]> We've seen Wii lightsaber attachments before, but Thrustmaster's version actually looks like something we'd be excited in using. These add-on sticks are powered by three AAAs and have 17 blue or red LEDs for glow-in-the-dark action. Nice, but we're not sure how much more "gameplay" it'll add to The Force Unleashed. Bonus shot for awkward Canadian teens after the jump. [Thrustmaster via Go Nintendo]

<![CDATA[Thrustmaster Flight Stick X: "World's First PS3 Joystick"]]> The amusingly named peripherals manufacturer Thrustmaster has launched the T. Flight Stick X, describing it as the "World's first PS3 joystick." This should be welcome news for flight-sim fans —as long as your favorite game doesn't exclusively utilize the motion sensor, which renders the device useless.

Still, the device has plenty to offer, like rudder and throttle control, airbrake or rapid-fire triggers, a mapping button, easy configuration switching, a slew of programmable buttons and axis, and PC compatibility. It even comes pre-configured for Blazing Angels on the PS3 and Flight Simulator X on the PC. Available for $50. (Product Page via Register Hardware via Wired]

<![CDATA[Thrustmaster Adds an Optical Wheel to Their New Controller]]> If you need a bit more control in your games, the Thrustmaster Run'N'Drive 3 in 1 controller purports to give you just that. Featuring an optical wheel surrounding the left-hand d-pad, it gives you extra nuance in driving games and in situations like zooming with a sniper rifle in FPS games.

Seems like a pretty cool addition to your standard controller. The 3 in 1 will work on a PC, PS3, or PS2, although on a PS3 it won't do motion sensing or rumbling and won't work on the 3 or 4 PS2 games that are backwards compatible. It's available in stores today.

<![CDATA[Thrustmaster Wiimote Charging Stand, Controller Grips]]> Joining the $30 Nyko Wiimote charging stand, this $24 Thrustmaster T-Charge NW gies you space enough to charge one controller and even comes with a silicone Wiimote protector. The protector is pretty useless unless you're one of those people who engage in extracurricular activities your wife, but the charger itself is fairly decent.

For $34.99, you can get a combo set with a charger, a stand, and a couple silicone protectors, but since that only comes with one charging station, we still prefer the two-station version from Nyko more.
