Given that internet access is becoming so commonplace it's practically a personal accessory, why not enhance the buying experience by offering customers juice boxes, or free beta fish in little tanks of water?
Instead of "2.0", why not just go with "not fucked-up"? I'd say that the latter has a great deal more meaning, since 2.0 can still be good-for-nothing.

I would imagine that they will be buying locations (Old larger Circuit City locations?) that can also serve as a shipping warehouse/store near key shipping hubs (Ala transmodal hubs, etc.)
Sorry guys, Best Buy was piloting this crap in a few of its stores back in the mid/late 90's using Kiosks. Apple's example, and now Tiger Direct's (I refuse to call them CompUSA) is merely an evolution of it, and it's hardly groundbreaking.
I somehow think this is going to be backwards compatible with 1.0 and most managers and pencil pushers will strive for failure, like they have in the past.
/by failure I mean pushing warranties, awful markups, and poorly trained staff
@shorty6049: @Zac Shipley: He does kind of have a point. Retail 2.0 (that is fucking lame) is most likely going to use PCs because they are cheaper, and you're going to get a ton of douchebags who are going to look for viruses to infect the system with just so they can mess things up.
