    Also, according to Alton Brown, you push the cutter down, then twist it a little. This will ensure it seperates.

    I prefer to cook one big sheet of cookie and then cut the cookie designs out with a LASER.

    Seriously tho. Has anyone tried laser cutting cookies?

    The key to make them keep their shape is to roll the dough out on parchment paper, cut the shapes out then take away the excess and just leave the cookies. Then put the parchment paper with the dough on a cookie sheet and bake.

    @gmblack: Haha yes, but the dough was incredibly sticky and soft. Maybe sugar cookies aren't the most conducive? :o (I really have no idea...)
