    Nice... finally I'll have a camera that can survive all the elements in the movie A.I.

    But matt, isn't the point of the camera that it doesn't hold much water?

    Yeah, I thought it was too good to be true when the post said "diving", but sadly the mfr. spec is as you say:

    Water Proof 3.0m ( IEC60529 IPX8 compliant )

    That's snorkeling. And crap snorkeling at that.

    Did they get rid of the Leica lens? Last time I saw this reviewed, it was featuring a leica lens, which did increase my interest in it.

    I think the little L in the lower right corner is a leica logo. If not, I'll be pissed because I already pre-ordered one of these.

    @SuprXY: It was there in the previous review as well, but it said Leica under the viewfinder and also mentioned it in review. This is missing in both counts here.

    Ok love the color, but not on my electronics please. I like shiny glossy black, silver, grey, etc..

    Anyone buy colored electronics?

    @BeerManMike: Color on waterproof items should be expected, as you will probably be using them outside, and helps find them.

    Hence the charcoal option, which I would go for as well for general use.

    @McNugget911_GitEmSteveDave:

    Agreed, I'd want an even brighter orange or a yellow for diving, etc.

    Pardon me, my fellow Gizmodians, for I rarely double-quip on a story. However, this time I feel I must, with apologies for not coming up with this (slightly better) comment first.

    "...or anywhere else in my pants.
    Well, you could if you'd just take out that damned roll of socks.

    The SD series Powershots are really nice for the form factor. I have a SD400. It's a great camera and for an ultra-compact, it has a nice picture quality. It gets noise in the high iso settings and in low light, but that's to be expected on a camera that is so small and I think 3 years old.

    @alphanumeric1971: Flips don't have any optical zoom. For a low end ultra-compact HD camcorder, Wal-Mart (yeah, really)has about the best I can find. It's a Wal-Mart exclusive Sanyo Xacti. For $200 you can't go wrong. Check it out.

    Either the person holding the camera has huge hands, or that camera is a lot smaller than I thought. I never checked the dimensions before, and for some reason I thought it was closer to DSLR size..
