Hey that Head Spa massager is useful for any low budget sci-fi movie in need of some weird head-gear type prop:

It's a futuristic brainwave analyzer.

It's a futuristic remote control for unmanned drone or other unmanned military vehicle.

It's a futuristic VR sex machine.

It's a futuristic smartphone/wearable computer with a front projected HUD that only the wearer can see (especially useful on those tight effects budgets).

The list goes on...

@madog: All I can remember is Keanu Reeves and Dina Meyer hanging out like in a VW van or something suspended high in the air for some reason. And yeah, there was a dolphin.

I paid to see that movie in theater, and I realized at some point that every movie I've ever seen based on a short story has turned out to be crap. #sextoys

While relationships are sometimes difficult, I feel the loss of human interaction, passion and affection cant be replaced, even by the IStud. Sex isnt just about the most technically perfect orgasm (or 5) that you can have, but its about exploration, passion, caring, friendship, and whatever else the individual brings to the mix. IStud might be fun once, but for the long haul, serious hot passionate sex, give me a very real, flesh and blood, imperfect human. Anything we dont do technically perfect the first time, we can go back and get it right the second time. #sextoys

@Curves: Exactly. And it's interesting to me how little attention we've paid the emotional/relational side of sexuality and relationships (granted, we also understand that side far less than we understand the physical side). Love your perspective, which I'd guess is shared by many here.

@Curves: It is interesting you mention that. It's a completely different thing. I mean, you can literally wire someone up to get an orgasm at the push of an (electronic) button. But the whole interaction of the 2 (more than 2 may be fun, but I feel the intimacy is left behind in those situations) is what makes sex more than "rub rub rub *SPLAT*!"

Evolution has turned sex (like the act of eating) more than just a means to an end or even more than a simple reward. It's a complicated and wonderful social interaction. #sextoys
