    This technology hasn't been out long enough to ensure that it's even safe for everyday use - though it's certainly reasonable to assume that it is, given the low energy of that frequency, and the fact that it's radiated by most things regardless. Still, as long as the scanners are not passive, people should have the right to opt out. (As for privacy - they should be able to opt out for that alone. This DOES equal a strip search, regardless of who performs it.)

    I don't know if I feel comfortable with this idea. At least there is the comfort of knowing that some TSA technician is vomiting after being forced to watch hundreds of fat naked Americans for hours ad hours.
