Seriously, anyone who is going to buy a Zune with all the AV attachments is already going to have a media center system hooked up to their TV and can watch their videos from that. So, why on earth would anyone need the AV attachments for the Zune?
@TancredoHelmer: I don't have a big home theater setup myself, but I do have an AV cable for my iPod touch, which I use often. I just plug it into the front of the TV. While this isn't the poshest of options, it works very well for my purposes, and is great to have if you travel.
I want the zuneHD, but im really not convinced to buy this, i have nevel liked the idea of docks, and the way i see it, playing 720p video on my tv is not worth 90 dollars (since i have other devices that can do that anyway).
I would be interested in a cable that allowed me to output the 720 video, it would be more portable, lower priced and i guess i can live without the remote.
@jdmonto: I agree. I would rather see just a cable too. The old zune would allow you to output video through RCA cables through the 3.5mm jack. I wonder if any similar attachment will come out?
@Murd0c: Good news... thanks! I've got the car dock, home dock, and power block for my Zune80... I don't want to have to buy all new accessories.... and I don't care about 720P Video... with only 32GB, I don't think I'll even try to put any 720P videos on my new zune HD.
@triggerx: I probably would for business trips. A couple of decent movies would make them a lot more bearable. The big problem is that most hotels I get put up in don't have HD tvs. Oh well...sooner or later they all will.
@Bigbadbikernerd: Same here... but even worse I hate when they don't even have a tv that you can connect anything to, or they have it blocked off somehow. As for the size... 80GB is the sweet spot for me... I have about 40 gigs of music, and I can put down about 40 gigs of video, even with all my music.... sooo... with a 32, how to choose which music and movies go with me everywhere. I know flash is expensive and all, but 64 would really help me out... I guess I can forego this sweetness till they bump up the size, as my 80 is just fine. Icing on the cake would be if they provide a firmware upgrade for the 80 when the HD comes out... I really just want the "Go To Letter" navigation ability!!!!
@phryed: 1. It's just a dock. Just a fucking dock.
2. The angular design is consistent with the Zune HD itself, the back of the player specifically which has the angular edges that taper toward the front.
