Anyway, there is a point to my objection. Making a comment along the lines of "that's old news", like Peter did:

1) Does not comment yay or nay about the merits of the product;

2) Needlessly puts down the writer and/or Gizmodo--which is NOT a news source but IS a blog;

3) Is not entertaining or useful or informative;

4) Ultimately serves no purpose.

HOWEVER, SlinkyDink, I have reconsidered and you are at least in part right, and I am going to cut Peter some slack. Peter, I did come on strong and, admittedly, your comment was FAR from the worst example of this type of put down. And, in fact, you DID provide one useful bit of info, that link.

So, bottom line, Peter, please accept my apology. And, please also don't do anymore "that's old" comments!

Peter, may I offer an unsolicited word of advice? If you have, as you say, constructive criticisms for Gizmodo, it is far, far better (and more effective) to send those kinds of thoughts in an email directly to the editors. Those email addresses are ALWAYS in the sidebar, easy to find, easy to use--and I can GUARANTEE you they are read by the recipients.
