The MSI Wind that was hackintoshed for the Giz Gallery was pretty nice looking. Unfortunate that we couldn't take it for a spin to see how the performance was, but the machinery itself looked top notch in person. Glad to hold out longer, cuz if these things get as good as I hope, I'll have a nifty companion system that I can use for travel abroad, and leave the substantial stuff at home and work.
@TechFcuked89:Thing is, if you were going to create an Apple netbook, it would look a lot like the MB Air, if not be the MB Air, which is gonna cost more than the MB.
Otherwise, if they start jettisoning essential parts of the computer (beyond the MB Air), it's gonna look more like an iPod than a Mac.
In the best of all possible worlds, if not an alternative impossible universe, for Apple Netbook-wanting consumers, Apple would drop the price of the MB Air to $599.
Even if this were a piece of junk, if it could run office, and do basic internets, for 300 clams, I think I'd want one. At least you could write more than one sentence email signed with "sent from my mobile device."
