Exactly! People who say they're going to hold off buying computers until USB 3.0 is released are deluding themselves.
Unless you have striped SSDs, the speed bottleneck is going to come at the HDD level. TO whoever is holding off buying a Macbook: Macbook HDDs spin at like 5400 RPM, there is no way you're going to see any improvement in speeds in 3.0 vs 2.0 because your HDD just isn't fast enough.
