Nice to see the cross compatibility so all three kids can play nice together.

I remember taking these things apart for periodic repair. I hope these new ones are constructed a little more soundly. Oh, how my hands would ache after a few hours of play. What nostalgia!

@ninjagin: I used to take mine apart too. If these new ones use the same bubble membrane contacts that the originals had I'd need to buy several. I went through controllers like mad back in the day..

was that text added on or is it actually part of their advertisement? if it's the latter, someone needs to get fired (or promoted since that's the way it normally works) because, uhh, it should be "used"

@Anonymoose: But it's a common fact that people who play video games can't read... so it really doesn't matter what it says.

@Rabid Penguin: but what about all the first versions of final fantasy? that's what kept reading alive. that and karaoke. shoot, even signs these days are opting for pictures instead of words.

@Anonymoose: Have you ever played Final Fantasy? The first one had very little words, and it was meant to keep your friend (who didn't play video games) occupied with reading while you enjoyed the game.
