We are in the midst of reviewing the recently announced Motorola Droid Turbo 2, and one of the most interesting features of the phone is its supposedly shatterproof display. Any phone can survive one or two errant drops. But what about seventy?
We've seen the Palm Pixi drop in price right at launch, but looks like the Droid isn't far behind. The Dell Mobility Store is offering it for a rather reasonable $120 (with a new Verizon account, of course).
Hopes may be dashed on that rumored Android equivalent of the HD2. HTC's CEO, Peter Chou, tells Forbes that "technically, we could make the HD2 an Android phone, but I have to take care of Windows Mobile." Qué?
Aside from creepy mailers, Verizon is also sending out invites to the unveiling of "the most desirable phone of the year." Based on the familiar glowing red graphic, it's probably a Droid event, but who knows? Maybe Verizon has surprises?
