    @OMG! Chrismukkah!: Speaking of which, have you flipped through a clip-art catalog lately? Would it kill Adobe to maybe update all the cute little drawings of floppy disks, VHS tapes and cassette decks with something from this century?

    @OMG! Chrismukkah!: DIVX?? It may not be used for commercially available movies but it is still a very popular format, especially for the "legal" (cough) movie download industry (can it be called an industry? well u know what i mean).

    @ab3: Not DivX. DIVX. Circuit City's failed proprietary rental format from 2001. It was a separate kind of disc.

    Can't say I miss it at all, and I guess I'm a cold mammajamma to not feel any sadness for the death of this format, as I now enjoy movies that do not require rewinding, and have zero chance of having the media get yanked out and get strung out in the heads.

    @iamholland: I buy them all the time. Mostly they're from 2nd hand stores and I can get them for 50 cents a pop. I had no idea they were actually still manufacturing the things.
