Yeah... I'd just go the exercise ball route. But I'm curious how long kids will put up with these chairs when their parents can't even convince them to go outside. It's like they're admitting defeat to child inactivity.

@jackolo: How about giving them a soccer ball? It's cheaper and it's more prone to be used in REAL exercise.

@Michael Boland: I attribute that to our education system. I used to enjoy running around and playing till you had to run everyday for stupid gym class. A game we played called snowballs (like dodgeball but with smaller soft air balls) was great. It got us running and everything, but they soon took that away when they saw it was fun or something.

@usul356: Agreed. In my town, they are actually fighting to ALLOW recess. You can't say kids have ADHD and then keep them cooped up all day. You need to let them get fresh air and mingle amongst each other. I wonder how many new schools are built with no outdoor area for things like kickball off the cafeteria?
