Microsoft is issuing another comprehensive update to Windows Vista! HAHAHAHA! Programming FAIL!

At least MAC knows how to program and doesn't have to issue updates to its operating systems.

Needing updates is proof of a failed software company! LOLZ!

Didn't XP release a service pack as Vista was rolling out too? At least they aren't abandoning those of us who like and use Vista. If I'm going to be the red headed stepchild of Cupertino at least I'm well fed.

From the Command Prompt, type the following:

    secedit /configure /cfg %windir%\inf\defltbase.inf /db defltbase.sdb /verbose

Sadly, NVidia still sucks at writing drivers. I love the Win7 beta, but my Aero performance is choppy and the driver crashes regularly. So, until NVidia gets their sh*t together, I'm sticking with Vista (which runs extremely well and I'm very happy with).

if window 7 hits off as successful as it is by the reviews and critics from the beta test trial, vista might just come and go and be shadowed by 7 then. waste of labor and cost. but you can't just stop the line completely knowing how many people have no choice but to stick with vista on their pre-built laptop or personal pc(s). i personally don't own vista but playing around with it was fun. that's all i can say from that experience haha.

@inertial: No choice? Maybe from a cost perspective if they're financially strapped. Maybe from an intimidation perspective if they aren't technologically inclined. But otherwise, I don't see people having no choice.
