    This is pretty cool, but it's going to put some medical technologists out of a job. The only problem with that is there will be no one to double check a diagnosis.

    At the size of a desktop computer I will take one for the GP practice my family runs- this sort of thing would clear all sorts of problems- sending off samples, calling patient back to get results etc

    With the rate new diseases are coming up, you have to wonder if the virus database on this thing allows for easy updating through the Intarwebs.
