    Since you all are dying to know, I finally broke down and watched Wall-E the other day. I thought it was gonna suck and the dialog was going to consist of beeps, bloops, and a robot saying his name throughout the entire movie.


    Although I wasn't far off on the dialog, to my surprise I really enjoyed the movie... And I like transformers so this is cool.

    Given that the carrier stated that the $17,000 was for "their cost", the $17,000 is a bit high. If the carrier wants to charge him their actual cost, then let them do that. Or let them say, we'll knock it down to $17,000 as a courtesy.


    Someone's lying. Either the telco is lying about $17,000 being their cost or Alberto's lying that the telco said the $17,000 is their cost.

    I don't think it would be unreasonable for your carrier to send you an email when your charges go above the level that any reasonable person would be shocked by. Maybe $1,000? Give a little warning.
