It's a credit card-sized player with a double-sided USB adapter (you can plug it in any direction) and built-in playback controls.

The storage ranges from 128MB to 2GB, and is encased in a PVC shell which actually feels pretty solid. We're still worried about accidentally snapping it off when it's plugged into a PC, but that's true for all long USB devices.

The thing gets 5 hours of battery life and can even be integrated with barcode, RFID or USB functionality for authentication.

<![CDATA[Walletex Credit Card-Sized MP3 Player]]> Walletex, the company known for their credit-card sized USB flash drive also has a similar-sized MP3 player. This device will be available in capacities up to 2GB. I'm still kind of confused by the pictures. Sure it is small, but where the hell is the headphone jack? We'll see how well this turns out come June 2007 when it is slated for a release. Maybe I can con them into a sneak peek at CES next week.

<![CDATA[USB Drive Gets Credit Card of its Own]]>

Wow. Now this is interesting. A company called Walletex has finally come up with a real "credit-card sized" USB drive, that really, truly looks and feels like a credit card. Meaning, it's not just rectangular and kinda thin. The Wallet Flash 1.1 is being touted as the thinnest USB drive on the market and as you can see, it's easy to store. Right now, sizes are 128MB ($29), 256MB ($49), 512MB ($89) and 2GB, which isn't priced yet.
