    They probably have a grille or filter at the pump's inlet to prevent particulates and fish from entering. Nice invention, but probably more useful in a recreational pool/lake than in a firefight. You wanna be using all that water to actually extinguish the fire rather than raining buckets down on passers by and holding up one guy in the air.

    Look closely behind him in the video. He's towing his pump with him. It looks like a modified jet-ski. I wonder if he could get up any higher with a longer hose?


    It would be interesting to see what one of these could do, hooked up to a fire hydrant though.
