Is it fake? I suspect so, but I really want it to be real.

The site that explains the stunt is all in German, save one vague video in English. Can any German-speakers decipher this and determine its validity? Please don't dash my dreams. If this is a viral ad for adult diapers or something I'm going to be really disappointed. Although it would be a great way to sell something that helps adults cope with shitting their pants, no? <![CDATA[The Abisko is Closer to a Water Slide Than a Sink]]> In a world filled with crazy sink designs, the Abisko sink from Eumar just might be the craziest. Seriously, I want to ride this thing.

If you are less about waterparks and more about peaceful zen gardens, the Abisko also evokes the feeling of a gently flowing stream—complete with waterfalls. So far, there is no word on pricing—but it is safe to say that this will set you back some serious cash. Hopefully, they will make a matching urinal version. Now THAT would be something (truly horrible). [Eumar via Trendir via DVICE]

<![CDATA[Rebel Shark That Plays By His Own Rules Jumps Onto Waterslide, Lives Fast, Dies Young]]> A very steep water slide? Pretty scary. The same water slide, but with a shark coming down it right behind you? Yeah, that takes things to the next level.

At the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, there's a shark tank right next to the waterslide. Somehow, one of the sharks managed to jump out of its tank and onto the slide.

Yesterday morning at around 9:30 AM, prior to the resort's waterscape opening to guests, a 12+-year-old female reef shark jumped over an 18 inch wide and 1 foot high sustaining structure into the resort's Leap of Faith water slide.

Luckily, there was no one on the slide at the time (although that would have been absolutely amazing, especially if the shark was wearing sunglasses for some reason), but unfortunately for the shark the water in the slide pool was highly chlorinated to kill all the tourist pee that inevitably gathers in such bodies of water. The chlorine ended up doing the shark in before they could get it back to its tank. [TMZ]

<![CDATA[A Giant Water Slide Would Make an Hour Commute Awesome]]> You know a marketing exec with a fiercely long commute at UK-based credit card provider Barclaycard must have been daydreaming one day about being whisked back home by a water slide. If I didn't sit at home working in my underwear this would be my dream too. [Barclaycard via The Raw Feed]
