Nice! Although it would 10x cooler if instead of a "usb drive" it took an SD card so you could add an Eye-fi SD card and make it a wireless network timelapse camera. Because then of course you could get a TimeCam subscription for youtr webcam and watch whole seasons go by...
You want to make it Eye-fi or similar, then there isn't even a need to physically retrieve the camera to get the photos, nor is there any evidence left in the unit of what exactly was documented or when it was first placed.
And no, if she's outside in public view, you can take as many pictures as you want. You just can't sell 'em. Doesn't mean people won't think you're creepy though.
Well, since no one wants my opinion, I must give it. There will not be a garden cam for JerseyCam. I'd want one, but all it would do is catch my cats eating my Christmas/Easter Cactus.
While I am too cheap to pony up the $159.99 for it, its kinda cool, and as a gardener, I can see where it would be fun to have it take frequent shots of a fast growing plant like Pea Vines or even the daily opening of the Morning Glories.

This isn't just useful as a garden camera.
I'll take a case of them in flat black, please...

They'd need to beef up the battery as well. I wager WiFi would significantly cut down this thing's useful charge.
And without IR and low-light sensitivity, it's crap for surveillance.
