Can we see the footnotes? Usually their "mac format" edition is actually FAT32 and fucks people over, seen it happen a million times *shakes head.* Also I like the ports on the studio addition but think its funny that the Mac addition is USB 2.0.

I'll stick to buying their HDs and putting them in my own enclosures, thanks.

That 2tb disk will save me some desk space though.

@TheCrudMan: I guess they're thinking firewire is a studio thing, a protocol sequestered to the ghettos of a/v production rather than a common port wandering freely throughout the mac universe.

(yeah - I know, the new firewireless Macbook, but that's the worst decision Apple ever made and shouldn't count).
