why not just wrap the wire around your mp3 player? that way you have it immediately available. this seems unecessary.

@OGC: Well, I use my iPod Touch as a PDA. Wrapping my earphones around it would make checking my calendar/email/to-do list really annoying.

On other iPods, though, that would be fine.

@Bighaugs: You're a very very special case. I'd imagine most users use their iPod Touch as a music player along with other functions.

I think you'd be surprised... the iPod Touch/iPhone is a popular PDA replacement to many people. I replaced my Sony Clie (PDA that plays MP3s and videos) with one, only to find that it's powerful enough that it replaces my laptop in most cases too (mail, browsing, news, notes) and I personally know a few others who did the same. When my dad got one I had to remind him he had >30GB that he could put music onto and not just use it as a PDA.

I like this because it'll keep my phones from tangling up in my pocket when I don't want to just wear them trailing from my pocket to the back of my neck.

This method really works great for any sort of cable, requires nothing:

I've got a drawer full of various USB, guitar, monitor, etc. cables wrapped like this and they've never gotten tangled.

@Brad Attaway: y'know, with patch cables (instrument cables), you shouldn't wrap them around something at all, as it breaks the cable over time. Just grab an end with each hand, then loop it hand over hand, gently twisting the cable. Every patch cable has a natural twist to it, so you'll feel it fall into place. You should be fine with usb, though.

I call BULL-SH*T

No way that's a standard sized biz card and they clearly didn't bend that free-hand, especially the small folds on top and bottom.

I suspect Robots and Lasers were used, perhaps illegally too. :)

I managed the first time by doing it this way:

1. Fold in half

2. Fold both sides out in half

3. Unfold the center fold, but leave the other two folded.

4. Grab about 1cm down from the corner and fold it down diagonally, so that the fold runs up to the end of the center fold (like the picture) and crease it.

5. Repeat for the other side, and the bottom.

6. Now open it all up again, and push the creased joints you just made so they're right-side out. The case is done!
