    Stunning how many people are incapable of activating vibrate on their phones and/or not responsible for doing it at the right time. They are also probably all out driving the freeways in the left lanes for hundreds of miles.

    @reefer: In NJ, you have three lanes. The Granny(right), Cruising(middle), and Hammer(left) lanes.

    Personally, I'd keep a hammer and a lighter under the lectern. If a phone goes off, take the phone and smash it. Then, burn the SIM card with the lighter.


    Alternately, I'd take the phone, dial the person's office, ask for the managing editor, and "suggest" that the editor teach the reporter some frackin' decorum.
