If you try to use the LCD on the back, guess who's going to look like the Luddite?

(And it was a P&S in my story which did not even have an optical viewfinder, which I guess I should have been clear about).

Absolutely not.
Though I am always glad to hear that this administration isn't afraid of digital cameras stealing their souls for sale on "that Baying thing". It's refreshing.
And "nuclear". They actually say "nuclear". Like a drink of ice cold beer on a hot spring day.

I know Bush had issues with peoples perception of his accent and pronunciations of some words but who hasn't mispronounced something?
But you are right, he can read the 'prompter. And he's smart enough to improvise if it doesn't tell him what to say.

Sorry, but "nucular" is not an accent, but a misunderstanding of the word. We've all mispronounced words, but not for 8 years straight.
Thanks for the sarcastic link which I hovered rather than clicking, but coming from a guy who just used the "everybody makes mistakes" argument to defend Bush's [mis]pronunciation, using a teleprompter gaffe as a way to mock Obama is pretty self-defeating.
My last comment meant to insinuate that Bush would read the prompter and make the same mistakes consistently (showing an inability to learn, or a stubbornness that makes him unwilling to learn -- take your pick).
The gist of my sarcastic commenting was that I'm supportive of the current administration's efforts to increase transparency (I know they are never going to be 100% transparent, but I appreciate some effort), and their interest in science and technology. That is really what I find refreshing.
