Wouldn't this cause your cell phones to get worse coverage in your house?

Me? I type out my SSID and password and on thousands of neon-coloured post-it notes, which I then put on the windows and under windshield wipers of every car in every parking lot in town. Everyone just throws them away anyways.

And for the people saying to hide your SSiD or add a password. If someone wants to they can crack all of that. Even a 100+ character random password, if their smart enough it can be cracked.

Also a pint of water is a pound, the world around, unless that water is frozen or vaporized, in which case a pound of ice & a pound of steam occupy more than a pint of volume.
Many liquids (paint included) have different densities than water.
I don't know whether paint is less (floats) or more (sinks) dense than water & don't have the needed materials here to test.

The average joe next door won't rob me, but that doesn't mean I'm going to leave my house unlocked.

I have home owners insurance. I also don't see a lot of war driving around my dead-end street.
I don't broadcast my SSID, and I have Mac filtering enabled. That's good enough for me. If you want to have WEP or WPA2 enabled and have a security system setup in your home with video cameras and bear traps laid around the house, then go ahead. I guess I'm just no that paranoid.
