@Zlevee: Sorry to be a dick. Actually, I'm all for you guys calling more attention to this, as many testers seem unaware of the flaw and the previous Giz article had only a tiny mention about the flaw and a subsequent note about the patch (though a bunch of comments called attention to the patch). But if you had called the post something like "MS posts additional information on Win 7 MP3 bug and patch" it wouldn't have appeared like you guys don't read your own site.
