Microsoft Acknowledges Problems With Windows 7 Student Edition Upgrades

The reason for my misunderstanding is because I am getting OEM upgrades for the systems that I purchased this year, and as such, the manufacturers are sending me fresh copies.
Again, thank you all for the clarity on this matter : ) #windows7studentedition

It's not Microsoft's fault. #windows7

Anyways, I bought Win7 Student Edition because it was cheap and I wanted a backup. Proves exactly why everything that looks too good to be true probably is.
And FYI, I was using the Win7 RC1, completely formatted my drive and it still wouldn't boot. So no, it isn't my fault...it's all Microsoft's fault. #windows7
