    Almost useful, almost useless. I'd like this sort of thing to plug in devices to my entertainment center machine on the couch side (good for stuff like wired controllers and stuff).

    Too bad a wireless keyboard/mouse sets are cheap, and 360 controllers can be connected to the box with a 20 dollar usb thing.

    "I was convinced Minidisc was the music format of the future."


    Yeah, same here...but I got a lot of use out of my mini-disc recorder. It helped me record several audition tapes back in the day. I've still got it sitting around somewhere, and I'm sure it could come in handy again.

    @GTgeek: Proprietary Sony formats never become truly widespread. Even Blu-Ray isn't in a decent position with all the streaming tech launching.
