Can we have explanations/details with the gallery next time? I'm curious to know what these people do in their spaces/what they do with 6 monitors. I'm sure that people with setups as complex as this would love to talk about what went into their workspaces.
They say OCD like its some BAD thing??!! I cant wait to get home so I can take my time while lusting for my fellow Gizmotians work spaces. The only cool thing in my work space is ME.
@Barry99705: Those "work space photos" are out there, just none that can be traced back here. You only have to know where to look and thats a closely guarded secret.
@Xeno has nothing useful to contribute: No. It's a tower fan I found in a dumpster. I plugged it in, and it made a horrible squeaking noise. So I took it apart and oiled the gear and axle, and not a peep. My 2nd floor has ONE heating/cooling vent, so fans are important to move air between rooms.
@CargoHoldNap_GitEmSteveDave: Hey we have that same fan. It has a remote too. I can understand why that person threw theirs out. The damn thing squeals like a son-of-a-b*tch. I lube the lower bearing at the bottom of the fan squirrel-cage periodically to silence it.
OK, this one is a contest I am looking forward to seeing the results of. The last set of workspace pics showed some AMAZING set ups. (The winner of the messy desk contest the other day nearly caused me an OCD panic attack.)
I'd love to see some Before/After shots of last week's desks. Unfortunately, I don't think giving people until next Tuesday is a feasible amount of time to straighten out those desks.
@Hello Mister Walrus: Yes, JerseyCam requires many Internets to broadcast it's pictures. I got the idea from Lifehacker to use the pegboard. Here's a closeup:
@COmmunistMudKip: JohnN LeNIN [お母さん?]: Yeah, that's what powers the first/original cam on my site. The others run on Dells. She's headless right now and I run her w/VNC.
@Xeno has nothing useful to contribute: No, he was the Penguin, who masqueraded as someone who lost his memory, and covered his fingerprints so Batman and Robin couldn't use the mobile BatComputer to identify him by his fingerprints. They would have to take him back to the Bat Cave to use the retinal scanner. But the Penguin smuggled in dehydrated goons and re-hydrated them with water from the Bat Cave. Luckily for the caped crusaders, Penguin used the water from the Atomic Bat Pile, which made the goons unstable.

My picks: I want Eric Denman's setup with emil_brikha's view.

Would Gizmodians be a testament to market share sample?
(Or at least the ones that have clean work areas...? HAHA!)

I have more screens than this, and it's actually messier:

If the threat of disease, rat bites or just being crushed under the volume of crap that we saw last week wasn't enough motivation, nothing is.
