This thing is awesome. Definitely something that people in a college dorm or a studio could use to maximize available space. I would have absolutely loved this when I was living in an apartment several years back.
My, my, we're so negative today, aren't we? I could see this as a demo station at a trade show or a compact point-of-sale solution for a small business.
It doesnt look very comfy, and my claustrophobia would have me hacking air holes in it in about 5 minutes. The only use for this are anti-social people or high security and I hope in comes in other colors than red.
Oh, great. So when Skynet triggers its attack, this chair zooms forward on that sliding track, snapping shut with you trapped inside. I don't think so. Pass.
After tons of research done by our new robot overlords, it was decided that we spend most of our time in front of the computer. What better way to encapsulate us on the fly then to make an egg that will snap shut on command.
