I used to have a modded 100GB Creative media player. But, frankly it was huge and it's battery life wasn't that impressive for the size. Also, no game support. Considering it's crazy small footprint and it's great battery life, the iPod touch wins.
Hmm... seems like this is relevant to my interests. I really just want to watch Venture Brothers on the bus and ignore all the San Francisco crazy hobos.
I've always had good luck with Creative's players, but I'm still holding out for the new Zune. It's way more sexy and hopefully it'll do a lot more things.
That's a great price, and I've almost always preferred the sound quality and UI speed of Creative's MP3 player offerings over that of the iPod family. That's not to say Creative's products haven't had their own shortcomings, but in general I found them vastly preferable for dedicated audio purposes.
God I hate it when I can't identify things I feel I should be able to....What the hell computer is that? It's not a late 2006 model MBP, because I have one, and it looks almost exactly like that except for the keyboard, which is silver, not black. And it can't be a current model MBP (even though they have black keys) because the screen lip on it is silver (like on my late 2006 MBP), not black like it is on current MBP's. Which explains my confusion....What the hell is that?
@TheSonOfKrypton: Yup, the matte display kit... really ruins the looks of the machine, makes it look like a previous generation MBP with a black keyboard.
I like the think of it as Apple's way of saying 'screw you, if you want matte then you can look like you have an old computer!'... or something like that.
@TheSonOfKrypton: I was thinking the exact same thing. It's definitely a Unibody MBP, but doesn't look like a TechRestore job - the bezel is actually black when they do it....unless they're now offering an aluminum-like finish, which I haven't seen on their website. Any off-topic insight, Wilson?
Didn't they make this already, only it's called Airport Express and it doesn't require an extra dongle to carry around?
If they wanted to make something like this that was worthwhile, they'd make Wireless speakers that use 802.11 G or N to do it and accept IP streamed audio input.
@EncNone: That's for the picture—I never actually used it with the laptop in the middle of two speakers. You can put the laptop anywhere, including another room.
