    Rechargeable batteries are bad for energizer business. Why keep buying batteries if I can just recharge the ones I bought a year ago?

    I've seen zinc-air batteries for consumer use in a bunch of applications. The problem that i recall them having is that once you have them outputting power, they can't be stopped. So if you turn off your device, the batteries will continue to discharge until dead.

    I remember them being popular on camping gear sites.
