OK, that was pretty freakin' hilarious. Some of the funnier parts, for those who don't understand Japanese:

    1. They knocked over a bowl of Tabasco sauce. The kid started yelling at the zombie that it was blood and the zombie licked it up.

    2. When they retreat down the hallway, the little boy is yelling stuff like, "Bring it on!" "Come on out!" and such. Hilarious!

    3. The zombie, when he's leaving, grumbles that he's not going to come back to this home again.

@kylenalepa: Can you explain why their clothes have English on them, and everything else is in Japanese?

This is proof that kids will only slow you down when the zombie apocalypse begins. Chuck the kids at the zombies and live for another day!

Oh Japan. Don't you know this is how children turn into cosplay dressing otakus with 13 year old virtual girlfriends?

Given that they were in the kitchen, I'd say this "zombie" was lucky that the kids did not know that the right way to stop a zombie is to grab a meat cleaver and behead them.

Still, even if the kids had done that, I somehow suspect that Japanese audience would have just laughed all the harder.

@speaknspell23: Those zombie 5th graders are pretty smart. They're all "brains... brains...". The best I can do is "ears... ears..." or maybe "nose... nose...", but that's about it.

@AXSLV2: Battle Royale wasn't based on a true story, the book is fiction and the film and manga are based on the book.

@Emiat: No. I'm sure Japan puts kids through torturous death camps to breed only the best. Doesn't that explain the population decline in that country?

What? When will there be a non-Japanese version of this? I suddenly feel that my zombieless childhood was empty.
