Does it need to be on Zune as well?
Having a pac-man on a gaming system (even though the zune and iPhone aren't a gaming system) necessarily means "Win"?

While I'll agree that the Zune 30 is probably a bit bulky and the tan-lines too distinct (though not outright impossible), I must call you on the "Nobody keeps gadgets in their bikini bottoms" bit. People most certainly do, go to pretty much any beach, lake, or pool during the summer and you'll see at least half a dozen chicks with their cell phones or iPods peeking out as they sunbath.
Did it ever occur to you that this woman may have modded her Zune 30, replacing the drive with a 240GB HDD, and then filled it with an eclectic assortment of music, encoded at 256 kbps or higher.
No. It did not.
You assumed that because she's a woman, modding is beyond her ken and that she picked a Zune 30 because her feeble woman brain didn't know any better. As Gloria Steinem famously observed, "a woman needs an iPod like a fish needs a cache of Pu-239."
Screw you, Dan. Your caveman attitude is what's wrong with the internet.
What I want to know is what the hell happened to her left hand. From how it's posed, you should be able to see her hand (specificlly her thumb) gripping the back of the rail, but there's nothing there.
Not if she had been laying down tanning, which is obviously implied (by the tan). Of course if she were laying down, why would she need to tuck it into he bikini bottoms? Zunes don't have a vibrate feature do they?
Please Microsoft, bring the Zune HD to Europe asap! My euro's are just waiting here ready to be send to your bankaccount in exchange for one of these players and the ZunePass subscription plan.
@dsh: The ZHD is some seriously nice hardware. I'll give it that, but what exactly qualifies it as the best? I could think of a couple possible cons off of the top of my head.
-single platform
-lacks support for a mic (thus no possibility of VOIP for this model)
These two things may be very minor, however I've yet to see the considerable advantages, other than that there seems to be growing favor for the desktop software, and that the ZHD has a beautiful display. Overall, I would not trade in my iPod touch for a Zune HD. My touch does a great deal more than the HD can.
@Kaiser-Machead: If you just factor the media playback component of the HD, it still hands the iPod Touch its ass, especially when comparing the sound quality, which I find to be seriously lacking in the iPod Touch. The Zune sound quality is so much more full and rich, whereas the iPod Touch sound quality is empty and hollow. I have a classic for my car and when using it with my headphones, it sounds like shit. The Touch, from what Ive heard on my UE EB's, sounds slightly worse.
But I agree. The Zune HD is missing everything else that the Touch can do, and that kind of kills it. But for those who wish to have the best experience playing their stored media, nothing touches it in terms of delivered quality, be it visual or aural.
@Kaiser-Machead: If you only want to listen to music and watch Video on a PMP the Zune is better. If you do more and need it to attach to more the iPod Touch is the better choice. It's all about what you need it to do.
The Zune is finally showing Microsoft can do something right when it wants to.
P. S. To Xbox fans, the Xbox 360 was extremely buggy and Xbox lost the company millions so it doesn't count. It was not done right and was another example of throwing money where they didn't need to. That said I like the Xbox 360 now but if they didn't have more money than God when it came out they would be out of the business now.

Screw the colors; port this thing to Canada. You know, the US' friendly, igloo dwelling, neighbours to the North. :)

It is much better than the iPod Touch.
It is not as good as the iPhone because it is not a phone.
