Put together by Randall Munroe for today's XKCD, this map uses HURDAT and NCEP rainfall measurements between 1914 and 2014 to zone off areas by the worst hurricane in living memory. While more recent storms seem to account for larger swathes of land, it's interesting just how wide the spread of dates is. [XKCD]
