Hello! I just wanted to give a huge "I SECOND THAT!!!" to Eric J's comment about making a cordless phone that looks and feels like the phones we grew up with in the good 'ol days. They were durable (they lasted more than a year), easy to hold (with your hand or shoulder), and you never hung up on anyone...unless you wanted to. ;o)

Come on you guys in R&D, I KNOW you can design a cordless handset after the old ones... plenty of room to put the buttons and LCD on the top and/or bottom portion of the handset, then put the little recharge gizmo on the bottom and it could sit upright in the cradle. Wouldn't take up any more room than the current cellphone-like pain-in-the-rear phones everyone makes now, now would it?

Doesn't anyone get that cellphones were originally made as small as possible, hence, a pain to talk on, out of necessity (they're mobile!)?? I don't know about everyone else out there, but I think most of us 'ol foggies would like our telephones back!!! However, we WILL take that new-fangled cordless technology.

Car makers could take a lesson here, too. Any idea how popular a replica of the REAL Mustang or a T-Bird (or any of the past greats) would be??

Thanks for the vent!! and GET TO WORK! :o)
Can someone please design a phone that has the same curvature as an old-fashioned hand set? Nothing has ever been as comfortable, You never mashed buttons up against your face, and your mouth was close to the microphone so the person on the other end of the line could hear you and not everything happening around you.

MongoLikeCandy
