I'm glad to find another soul who believes that Pimp My Ride show on MTV is crap.</p>

That is really all they do, is take a piece of junk, put some frivolous
frippery inside, give it a thumpin' stereo and a paintjob, thereby
making it a loud, pretty piece of junk. And I'm supposed to be
impressed? And the ridiculously staged "reaction" shots of the kids.
Puh-leez...</p>

I've actually seen this done to an iPod, and I believe it was the same company doing it at that time.</p>
<p>
However...You can save about $200 or more by simply taking your MacBook case to an auto body shop and get a choice enamel paint job. They're usually happy to take on the new business concept and shoot you a really good price. Of course, you have to remove the guts from the Mac and then re-install them. But, if you're a serious modder, something like that is already routine business to you.</p> <p>HughWische</p>]]></description>
