They were pretty hard on Canon. Personally, I have been really impressed with their cameras in the past but what the reviewers are saying makes me a little skeptical. I am sure I would love it if I bought it but they sounded pretty keen on Nikon. I don't know what I am going to do.

scingram be careful when moving from the XT(350D) to the 5D because your EF-S lenses will NOT work with the latter.

So if you own a lot of EF-S lenses, I'd say give the 30D or 400D a shot :)

I have a 300D and several lenses so this would be worth the upgrade - at a nice price too.

Looks like a great camera, but for those of us with an XT already I am not sure the few improvments are worth purchasing anew. In fact if I was to purchase a new one, it would be the 5D not the XTi.

However for those buying new, this looks like a fantastic camera that should be priced right for anyone wanting to step up to a SLR.
