Costcos in Los Angeles area have been selling these for $58 for a while now. The back of the speakers are covered with the same foam that surrounds the iPod, and it's powered by 4 AAA or an AC brick. It also comes with a bike/treadmill mounting kit.

you know...back in the day this was a boom box. this kind of defeats the purpose of the compact size of the ipod and most other mp3 players doesn't it? Just another ipod accessory that is not really needed!
