xlarryx, the 3 day limit/3 play limit applies to ALL songs sent to the Zune via Wifi. However you can flag the song and download it later...doesn't have to be off the Zune marketplace. The only songs you can't put on the Zune are ones that you purchased from iTunes and other music services that have all that DRM crap. I'm sure any local band should have their music available on MySpace or something like that so for me the 3 day thing isn't a big deal. I'm sure someone will eventually find a way to hack the software and turn it off :)

RustyBurrito

Monster is a personal preference for people, just like people who buy a Rolex when a Timex would do the job. It just doesn't do the job with the quite precision. I personally like the construction of Monster and will pay a premium for quality. Connectors do corrode and that affects transmission, so hence the gold connectors. Tin and aluminum are not good conductors.

Y'all might not realize that to get 1080P (full progressive), not all HDMI cables can handle that bandwidth. I recommend you do some research before just blind-bashing. There are testing standards.

skullrose

@whitenerdy: According to CNet's review of the Zune, there's no dedicated volume control on the device, and it's actually controlled by flipping over to a seperate volume screen and then clicking the control pad up and down. :)

Connor

The screen looks pretty damn nice, that's for sure. I also want to see the Brown in person, it doesn't look so bad in photos, and these are definately the best "real world" photos yet.

made2last

So they have a color painted under the casing that shows through on the seams? It looks like the brown has a green under it which would be interesting to see in person. Is that blue under the black though? It looks kind of tacky.

Chimpo

I echo what Hanzo said.

Despite my own iPod loyalty, I'm really looking forward to seeing the brown model in person. Word on the street is that it actually looks way better in person than in photos, which it better, because it looks pretty damn bad in photos.

aseriesoftubes

It's a pity that everybody has to say about this device that it's sooo cool, while you can't see it on the pictures... how come?? you ask yourself..
and some pictures nxt to an iPod would be nice as well..
It might earn credits in the wireless department, but when you read about the limitations to it, both to copyrighted and non-copyrighted material.. I doubt if it will be a huge selling point..
While at my geeky core I feel that I should immediatly shun all things Microsoft branded..

But I am going to wait until I get my grubby mitts on one before I pass judgement. I can never seem to accurately navigate the menus of my iPod on the chair lift..and this sort of has my interest piqued.

Hanzo
