Personally, I think they're scrambling to push something out (bad though it is) due to the fact Intel did a slam dunk on them. AMD's 4X4 is the most pathetic attempt I've seen yet... and trust me, I'm an AMD fan!

Who would want buy this power hog... Who would want to buy a 'pair' of processors... Who wants to buy a brand new MB... when they can by a single processor that out ranks two in all scenarios. Plus, AMD's pricing isn't even that great!

These guys building the new boxes need to rethink before getting in to bed with AMD.
